And a few of us have done it more than once. This class takes a look at what it takes to set up and be successful working from a home office and some of the pitfalls that you need to watch out for.

This course is a general introduction to the study of psychology. The major learning objective of this course is for students to gain an understanding of the basic principals of, and research approaches related to, a broad range of areas within psychology. The areas/topics that this course will focus on include; historical perspectives in psychology, methods of studying human and animal behavior, biological psychology, sensation and perception, learning, memory and consciousness, development over the lifespan, motivation, social psychology, emotions and health, and abnormal/clinical psychology.

Although anyone is welcome, this course is designed and written with the beginner in mind. Prerequisites are only a desire to learn and some basic sewing experience. If you can cut and sew a straight line, you can succeed in this course!

So, if you are up to learning a new hobby, or simply want to join us for companionship, please feel free to come along.
